About Big Dumps

What is Big Dumps Disposal?

Big Dumps Disposal is a locally-owned, affordable dumpster rental company serving Winter Haven, Lakeland, Lake Wales, Auburndale, Mulberry, and the rest of Polk County, Florida. We drop off a roll-off dumpster at your home or job site, you fill it on your own schedule, and we haul it away when you’re done. Big Dumps Disposal is a DBA of PG Ventures.

With a junk removal service, a crew shows up, loads everything for you, and charges a premium for the labor. With Big Dumps, you get an affordable dumpster rental that gives you the flexibility to load on your own schedule, without the higher cost of full-service junk removal. If you’ve got the time and want to save money, a roll-off dumpster is almost always the cheaper option.

No, Big Dumps Disposal is a private dumpster rental company, not a municipal trash service. We’re not affiliated with Waste Management, your city’s curbside pickup, or any HOA contract. If your weekly trash didn’t get picked up, you’ll need to contact your local hauler. If you’ve got a one-time cleanup, renovation, or project that needs more space than your normal bin, that’s exactly what we’re here for.

Sizes & What You Need

What Size Dumpster Do I Need?

It depends on the project. As a quick guide: |
A 15 Yard is great for a small garage cleanout, a single-room remodel, or a roof on a smaller home.
A 20 Yard handles most mid-sized cleanouts, deck tear-offs, and medium remodels.
A 30 Yard is the right call for full-house cleanouts, larger renovations, or new home construction debris. If you’re not sure, tell us what you’re tackling and we’ll point you to the right size, you’ll never get talked into a bigger dumpster than you actually need.

For most small home projects, garage clean-outs, a single-room remodel, a basement purge, a 15 Yard roll-off dumpster is the right choice. It holds roughly the volume of three to four standard pickup-truck loads, fits on a typical driveway, and is the most affordable option in our lineup.

We offer 15-yard, 20-yard, and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters. Each size handles a different scale of project, from a single-room cleanout up to full-home renovation debris. Our pricing and dimensions are HERE.

Absolutely, roofing is one of the most common uses for our dumpsters. Shingles, underlayment, and roofing nails add up fast, and a roll-off keeps your job site clean and your crew working efficiently. For most single-family roofs, a 20- or 30-yard dumpster is the right size.

Yes. A roll-off dumpster is the simplest way to manage ongoing construction debris from framing through finishing, drywall, lumber scraps, packaging, flooring offcuts, the works. We can also swap a full dumpster for an empty one as the project moves through phases.

Definitely. We work with general contractors, roofers, remodelers, landscapers, and commercial property managers all over Polk County. If you need recurring drops or a multi-dumpster setup for a larger commercial renovation, call us and we’ll set up a contractor account.

Pricing, Rental Period & Permits

How Much Does a Dumpster Rental Cost?

Pricing depends on the dumpster size, your delivery location, and how long you keep it. Our pricing is flat-rate and includes drop-off, pickup, and a set rental period, no hidden fees. The fastest way to get an exact number is to fill out a form or call us; most quotes take less than two minutes.

A standard rental is 7-10 days from the day we drop off. If you need it longer, just let us know, we offer extension days at a flat per-day rate. No surprises.

Just call or text us before your rental period ends and we’ll add days to your booking at a flat per-day rate. We’d much rather extend your rental than have you rush to finish.

If we’re placing the dumpster on your private driveway or property, no permit is needed. If the only spot is on a public street or right-of-way, your city or county may require a permit, the rules vary between Winter Haven, Lakeland, Lake Wales, and unincorporated Polk County. We’ll let you know what to check before delivery, and in most cases the homeowner pulls the permit since they’re the property owner.

The 15-yard and 20-yard include 2 tons, 30 yd includes 3 tons. There are no determined limits or weight allowance. Heavy loads like concrete, dirt, or roofing tile fill up weight fast, if that’s your project, mention it when you book and we’ll size it right.

We charge a flat rate up front that covers delivery, pickup, your rental period, and your included weight. Extension days and weight overages (if any) are billed when we pick up. We accept all major cards and online payment.

What You Can (and Can’t) Throw In

What Can I Put in A Big Dumps Dumpster?
Most household, construction, and yard debris is fair game, furniture, mattresses, old flooring, drywall, lumber, shingles, packaging, general junk, yard waste, and small appliances. If it came out of a house, garage, or job site, it almost certainly goes in.
By Florida regulation we cannot accept hazardous materials, paint, motor oil, batteries, tires, propane tanks, refrigerators or freezers with refrigerant still in them, or medical waste. If you’re unsure about a specific item, just ask before delivery, we’d rather answer the question than have a load rejected at the landfill.
Our roll-off trucks place dumpsters on wood plank pads to protect concrete and asphalt driveways from scratching, cracking, or oil marks. Damage is rare, but if you’ve got a sealed or stamped driveway, mention it when you book and we’ll be extra careful.
Plan on a clear flat area roughly 22 feet long by 8 feet wide for our smaller sizes, with overhead clearance free of low branches and power lines. The driver will need a straight shot in and out. If your driveway is tight or you’re unsure, send us a quick photo and we’ll confirm before delivery day.
